Hey, fellow readers and new visitors!
Today's a longer one, 'cuz I'll be away for a while so won't upload....so today will be another installment for my story 'The Curse of the Ashton Manor' and a little insight on my writing schedule. So without further ado, let's continue our story!
CHAPTER 1: Prologue
Part II - Detective Monroe on the case
Detective Inspector Robert Monroe arrived at the manor, known for his keen observational skills and unflinching resolve. He was struck by the manor's beauty, but something about the Ruby and the murder scene set his nerves on edge. Monroe noted the Ruby's mesmerizing quality, feeling a strange unease as he began his investigation. The atmosphere is the manor felt stifling, as if the walls themselves harbored secrets.
As Monroe delved deeper into the lives of those connected to the manor, he encountered several potential suspects:
Lady Isabella Ashton, the grieving widow who stood to gain immensely from her husband's death, Henry Ashton, Sir Jonathan's estranged brother, who had been cut out of the family fortune years ago, Evelyn Carter, the maid who had recently been dismissed under mysterious circumstances, and Dr. Samuel Finch, A family friend and local historian who had shown a particular interest in the Ashton Ruby.
Detective Monroe began his enquiries, but something felt off.
And that's it for today! hope you all will like this installment as I introduce new characters in the mix. I also need you guys' feedback on my recent writing....
well, as I have talked about writing, let me segue into the next part.....my writing schedule....
As of now, I particularly fiddle with my timings to match my studies as I still am a High School student, and sometimes assignments mess up my schedule......
I tend to keep my timings during the night after I've had my evening coffee, a classic espresso brewed cold, which has enough kick to keep me up to finish a writing session.....
as for my writing ways, I almost always type out my stories, so I can edit later easily, and the clicking of a keyboard is treat to my ears....
And that's about as much as I can share for now, so 'til next time...
Keep your coffee mugs full and your reading list fuller.
Cheers!☕📚
